Who Is a Guardian Angel?
Angels are special angels assigned by God to watch over, protect, and guide each person throughout their life.
The Catholic Church teaches that every person is given a Guardian Angel by God. These heavenly companions help inspire us toward goodness, protect us from spiritual dangers, and lead us closer to Christ.
From the moment we are born until we enter eternal life, our Guardian Angel remains faithfully at our side.
What Does the Catholic Church Teach?
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches:
"From infancy to death human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession." (CCC 336)
Guardian Angels are reminders of God's personal love and care for each of His children.
